Opening Doors to Learning: BNI Foundation Announces 25 Fall 2026 Givers Gain Grant Recipients

Every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and imagine a future filled with possibility. Sometimes, that opportunity begins with a book, a hands-on classroom experience, or a chance to explore a future career. Other times, it begins with addressing an everyday need that makes it easier for a child to participate in school.

This fall, the BNI Foundation is awarding $47,996 to 25 organizations through its Fall 2026 Givers Gain Grant cycle, supporting educational opportunities for children and young people and helping address barriers to learning.

The Foundation received 92 applications during the application period of August 10 through September 18, 2026. The selected recipients represent communities and a shared commitment to helping young people access the resources and support they need.

Creating Opportunities to Learn and Grow

This cycle’s grants will support literacy, hands-on science and math learning, career exploration, and life skills education. Funded projects include reading intervention resources, books and educational games, science lab materials, and opportunities for young people to connect classroom learning with future careers.

The grants also recognize that a child’s ability to engage in learning is connected to circumstances beyond the classroom. Access to nutritious food, appropriate clothing, school supplies, and supportive spaces can help children participate more fully in their education.

Together, these investments support both learning experiences and the foundations that help make those experiences accessible.

Generosity That Reaches Beyond the Grant

Behind each recipient is a community of people working to give children greater opportunities. BNI members and chapters help strengthen that work by connecting local organizations with relationships, resources, and support.

We are grateful to the donors, members, chapters, and community partners whose generosity makes Givers Gain Grants possible. Their support allows the Foundation to invest in organizations that understand their communities and are ready to respond to the needs of the young people they serve.

The announcement of these awards is just the beginning. In the months ahead, we look forward to featuring individual recipients and sharing how their projects support children’s learning, development, and future opportunities.

Congratulations to our Fall 2026 Givers Gain Grant recipients. We are proud to support your work and look forward to sharing the stories ahead.
