The BNI-Misner Foundation was started in 1998 by Elisabeth and Ivan Misner, co-owners of BNI (www.bni.com) as a way to help close the gap between educators needs and the resources available to them.  The mission of the foundation is to support children's educational programs in countries where BNI has members. 

"Our goal is to improve tomorrow's business through education today," says Beth.  "We love to award grants to educators who are making a difference in the lives of the children they teach and preparing them to be effective in the business settings of their own countries."

The BNI Foundation is supported by the worldwide membership of BNI in a variety of ways--individual member donations, donations in honor or memory of someone, monthly heroes who donate $50 or more a month, monthly super heroes who donate $100 or more a month or fundraisers done by chapters or regions around the world.
